Wind-powered WaterSeer pulls 11 gallons of clean drinking water from thin air

A new invention powered by a wind turbine can generate 11 gallons of water from the air. This low-cost device is a hopeful solution for the millions of people who do not have access to clean drinking water. The water collector portion of the device is buried underground to create a kind of a well, where safe drinking water is collected from the air above. WaterSeer is seeking funding through an Indiegogo campaign. Prototypes have been successful and the not-for-profit company is now planning field tests.
