Although vinegar and baking soda are great for general green-cleaning, they won't keep your surfaces virus-free. You'll want to check labels for surface cleaners that will disinfect and remove viruses. For super-cleaning with chemicals, you'll want to look for the ingredients of quaternary ammonium (as in Lysol), bleach, or hydrogen peroxide. If you're still looking to avoid chemicals, look for products with a form of ionic soap (as opposed to nonionic soap used for washing hands). Cleaners with ionic soap will destroy the virus cell membranes on surfaces, but be aware that they won't do the job as quickly as products that contain the chemicals listed above. Read the linked article for more information and reviews of three different eco-friendly products that you might consider for surface cleaning.
